When El Pueblo Health Services recognized the COVID-19 pandemic would limit access to in-person care, the clinic worked with UNM College of Nursing faculty to devise a solution that ensured patients’ needs would continue to be met.
Associate Professor Van Roper and his team assisted in establishing a remote system for the Bernalillo-based clinic, with all 10 clinicians providing telehealth services to patients across the state —within just three days.
