THIS IS...
CREATING A NEW TRAJECTORY FOR THE FUTURE

The Santa Fe Collaborative
Associate Professor, UNM School of Architecture & Planning

The Santa Fe Collaborative initiative brings together 6 UNM schools and colleges with 12 top institutional and industry partners, both regional and national.

As an educator, UNM Associate Professor Tim Castillo knows that new technology and innovation not only play a key role in student success, but the success of our state as a whole.

That is why Tim is leading The Santa Fe Collaborative. This initiative will redevelop a former college campus into a place where public-private partnerships and creativity will offer educational experiences in design, culture, invention and entrepreneurship—a place where STEM-focused learning will also advance the creative economy.

Tim’s work through this center will offer a new trajectory of educational opportunities—propelling both students and the state forward into a rapidly changing and increasingly collaborative world.
